Event Highlights
11:00–15:00

Breathwork with Anton Hald
Learn how deep and powerful breathing exercises can be used to support mental health and enhance your overall well-being. We begin the retreat with a breathwork session that will fuel us with energy for the day’s program.

“The Nature of Emotions” with Martin Lund Rasmussen
In this inspiring talk, Martin explores the nature of emotions in Chinese medicine and Taoist philosophy. You will be introduced to the theory behind how emotions arise and relate to the body’s organs, as well as how emotional imbalances can create problems. According to both Chinese medicine and Taoist practice, emotions are considered “the primary cause of inner disease and suffering.” By gaining a better understanding of our emotional lives, we can live more constructively and strengthen our health. The lecture offers fascinating Chinese wisdom and thought-provoking insights into our psycho-emotional nature.

Break: Lunch will be served

Qigong with Martin Lund Rasmussen
Qigong training is part of the traditional Chinese movement tradition and has been used for thousands of years to prevent and treat illness.

The standing exercises are performed slowly, coordinating movement, breath, and awareness to circulate blood, lymph, and energy, while promoting body awareness and grounding. The exercises reduce stress by balancing the nervous system and create a stronger connection between body and mind, opening up a greater capacity for presence. You can feel an increased sense of well-being and centering immediately after practicing Qigong. Everyone can participate.

Gong Bath with Ylenia Fiorini
We conclude the day’s program with a Gong Bath. The vibration of the gong is a powerful method for reducing stress and balancing emotions. During a Gong Bath, the gong creates a sea of sounds that are deeply relaxing and induce a holistic resonance in the body and a spontaneous meditative state of mind, resulting in a feeling of expanded awareness and wholeness.

Yoga mats will be available for all participants on the day. All attendees will receive a goodie bag.*

Tickets include lunch, and a bottle of water will be served with the meal.

*If you are unable to attend the event, the goodie bag will be passed on to someone else.
