CC10: A Good Year + Fine + Samba Jean-Baptiste (US)

Fine

Fine is a Copenhagen-based singer-songwriter and producer whose music blends samples, acoustic and electric instruments into a groovy and ethereal crossover sound, both familiar and dreamlike.

Her debut album, Rocky Top Ballads (2024), turns experiments into songs by cutting and layering band improvisations. Bringing them together with melodies and voice. The album features loose-wristed-head-bobbing drums, a wide range of guitar sounds, bass riffs, reverb-soaked atmospheres, and real sound recordings — all woven together with Fine’s distinctive voice and lyrics. Recently she has been playing sold out shows in europe and northamerica all the while releasing a series of new songs.

Live, Fine reshapes her hypnotic sound together with her band: Lola Hammerich on guitar (Baby in Vain), Andreas Murga on bass (Gorgeous), and Mads Muurholm on drums.

Starting early, Fine began her career over a decade ago with the Danish electronic trio Chinah, releasing three albums. She has since co-written for New Jeans with Erika de Casier and Smerz, attended Clarissa Connelly’s Kanonschoir, and collaborated with Astrid Sonne under the moniker Coined.

A Good Year

A Good Year is Albert R. Hildebrand and Tobias Laust’s experimental blend of music and video. Throughout 2025, the duo has released a series of strong singles featuring guest vocalists such as Helena Gao, Horse Vision, and Late Verlane. Their music is banging, sensitive, and catchy, inviting listeners into a unique musical and visual universe where hard-hitting drums, acoustic guitars, and pitched vocals collide in unexpected ways.

Their debut work, Sofina, was part of the official selection at CPH:DOX 2024 and marked their first collection combining sound and film.

Samba Jean-Baptiste

Samba Jean-Baptiste is a Haitian-American songwriter painting his perspectives through earnest instrumentation, heartfelt melodies and illustrative writing. Accompanied by a growing video and photography practice, Jean-Baptiste’s music bridges reality with the imaginary, holding a single space for the present and memory alike.

Through his imprint AM Radio, Samba’s releases span a wide stylistic range of acoustic ballads, electronic anthems, instrumental compositions and collaborations with artists Rockie Rode and Izzy Goldbow.

Fresh off of opening for the North American tour of A24 music signee Mark William Lewis, Jean-Baptiste now brings his talents to Denmark to celebrate Copenhagen Contemporary’s 10 year anniversary.
