Events and conferences
Make Copenhagen Contemporary, located in the heart of Refshaleøen’s budding cultural district, the venue of your next big event. The art center is about 10 minutes from Kgs. Nytorv and a mere stone’s throw from Noma, Copenhagen’s ski slope, fine dining restaurants, Reffen Copenhagen Street Food and harbour baths.
Copenhagen Contemporary’s 658 m2 event hall in B&W’s magnificent old welding hall is the ideal space for conferences, large meetings, concerts, Christmas lunches, fashion shows and marketing events. The hall’s open and raw industrial appearance allows the discerning event organiser to tailor the setup to his own needs.
The hall can take 348 people and boasts a separate entrance along with four cloakrooms. Copenhagen Contemporary collaborates with professional caterers and technicians who can help create an unforgettable day. You can also provide your own caterers if you so wish.
Bring art into your event with a guided tour
Copenhagen Contemporary offers guided tours of the current exhibitions for those who wish to combine an event with a special experience of the artworks and galleries of Copenhagen Contemporary. A guided tour lasts about 45 minutes and is designed to comply with your needs and wishes.
The minimum cost of a tour is DKK 600 with a maximum group size of 20 in connection with hire of the event hall. See more information about private tours for individuals and groups here.
Visit the exhibitions outside of normal opening hours
If you are looking for a truly unique experience, you can explore the exhibitions of Copenhagen Contemporary after hours. A special opening of the art center can either be combined with an evening event in the event hall or organised as an independent function. Round off the evening with a glass of wine and snacks in the foyer. Contact us and find out more about cost and duration.
Give your child and his or her friends a unique experience by throwing a birthday party at Copenhagen Contemporary. For further information, see here.
