Float along on a unique and magical journey into the world of flowers with floral artist Thilde Haukohl Kristensen, who runs Poppykalas – a universe of flowers, colors, nature healing and art.

In the liberating energy of the full moon, you can create your very own Poppybana arrangement inspired by the Japanese floral tradition of Ikebana with Thilde as your gentle guide.

The workshop begins with a meditative, full moon ceremony where we gently shed light on everything we want to let go of. We connect with the flowers as our little helpers.

The meditative soft state follows you into the creative part, where you can create your very own flower arrangement with the flowers that speak to you. The arrangements are created directly in a bowl with a fakir who makes the flowers stand in the most beautiful way with fairytale flowers from Thilde’s self-grown flower field on Møn. At the workshop, you will receive both flowers and materials (flower scissors, fakir and bowl) to create the arrangement, which you can then take home and continue your own floral practice forever.

In addition to gaining an understanding of the magic of flowers through their color, depth and texture, the workshop also emphasizes the meditative aspect of working with flowers.

The workshop will be based on Thilde’s book, Poppykalas – and the magical flowers, where she shares her experiences of unfolding herself through the language of flowers and finding pauses, meaning and beauty in nature.
