The workshop is open every day.

Spend your autumn break at CC – we invite children, young people and families to let their creativity run free and lose themselves in the moment. It happens every day of the week, and we promise there is something for everyone.

Settle into Kengo Kuma’s Earth | Tree and try your hand at origami. Here you can fold your own paper cranes – and we’ll guide you if the technique gets tricky. In Earth | Tree you can also build with blocks of wood and brick and create your very own structures. Here, the only limit is your imagination!

Step into BørneCCirklen, where we have changing creative activities ready for curious children and their grown-ups – every day of the break!

In the workshop we work with red beads and copper wire, inspired by Lisbeth Karline Poulsen’s work Inunngorsimanngitsut (The Unborn). Create your own shape and let the beads carry a thought, a memory, a hope or something you care about.

You can also create your own personal landscape inspired by Inuk Silis Høegh’s The Green Land and Emilia Sølvsten’s Sukkertoppen. We build with clay, paper, cardboard and yarn – and you can make a place you know, miss or dream of, or build a landscape that only exists in your imagination.

Immerse yourself in enchanting soundscapes while drawing with white chalk on black paper in the CContemplation Zone. The listening sessions are based on Jessie Kleemann and Søren Gemmer’s album Lone Wolf Running and Jacob Kirkegaard’s work Lyd af smeltende is (Sound of Melting Ice) – and the activity is for both children and adults. CContemplation Zone takes place every Sunday throughout October at 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 pm. Each session lasts 45 minutes.

Of course, our other exhibitions are also open during the autumn break! Experience the aforementioned Lisbeth Karline Poulsen, Inuk Silis Høegh, Emilia Sølvsten and Jessie Kleemann – as well as four other artists with ties to Greenland – in our new exhibition Fire & Ice.

Fly by Camille Henrot’s critically acclaimed Paper Planes – the French artist’s largest solo exhibition in Scandinavia to date. Or step into James Turrell’s Aftershock and let your senses be swept away by dreamlike colour and light – an almost hallucinatory experience you won’t soon forget.

We look forward to CC’ing you during the autumn break!
