The evening continues with a public finissage and book launch as the exhibition is transformed into a book titled Reset Materials – Towards Sustainable Architecture. The book features the works from the exhibition, all composed of new and rediscovered building materials, along with essays on the future of sustainable architecture.

About the book:

Reset Materials – Towards Sustainable Architecture is an invitation to explore a universe of experimental building materials and their applications. Ten multidisciplinary teams, each consisting of architects, artists and manufacturers, have joined creative forces to present their compelling visions of a post-carbon architecture. The results were shown at Copenhagen Contemporary over the summer 2023. Continuing this explorative process, the publication Reset Materials develops the multidisciplinary dialogues of the ten teams and materials, entangling shared learning and practices, science and aesthetics. The result becomes an inspirational manual that compiles a range of tactile collages, voices, experiences and reflections while expanding the discourse locally and globally through essays by Amalie Smith, Galaad Van Daele and Victor Boye Julebæk & Nicolai Bo Andersen.
