CC x SØ Party: Stretching Into Infinity
About
Experience the nightclub’s vibrant underbelly when Copenhagen Contemporary (CC) moves into Søpavillon for an evening celebrating art and the night with a specially curated program of DJs, talks and performance.
On August 17, we celebrate the opening of a number of spectacular works in public spaces as part of CC’s big Yet, It Moves! exhibition.
During the afternoon, you can join a unique art tour where artists Jens Settergren, Cecilia Bengolea and Cecilie Waagner Falkenstrøm will unveil their art installations, which open at Refshaleøen, BLOX Havnepassage and Sifs Plads. Participation is free. Find more information here
Capping off the day, we invite you to a blasting art party. Watch the lighting of Black Quantum Futurism’s big neon work that will illuminate the iconic building. Listen to talks by some of the world’s leading physics and art researchers, then occupy the second floor of the Lake Pavilion for sharp DJ sets and captivating performance art.
As something very special this evening, Søpavillon is open up to CC’s members for free. Get your membership, starting at just 25 DKK a month, here

About Yet, It Moves!
Yet, It Moves! is a pathbreaking art and science research project featuring a stellar array of Danish and international artists exploring the universe’s only constant: movement!
From the biggest halls at CC, the exhibition extends into the cityscape where Copenhageners go about their lives (Sifs Plads, BLOX Havnepassage, Refshaleøen and Peblinge Lake), unfolding the theme of movement from the tiniest atomic particles in the human body to the macrocosm of the stars. Nothing stands still. Even things we consider immutable are in constant motion – within, above and all around us.
Experience artistic interpretations of the intricate movement patterns that shape complex phenomena like exploding stars, time as a spatial dimension and how we interpret our ever-moving surroundings.
