Copenhagen Contemporary and BGM8S bring sound to your summer with this invitation to attend dance-along DJ sets designed by the music collective every Thursday in July. CC is open until 21.00 and you can buy chilled organic white wine and much else in the CC kiosk with special offers on drinks to mark the occasion.

The event takes place outside the CC kiosk and is free. If you would like to visit CC’s indoor exhibitions, a normal admission fee is payable.

About BGM8S

Based in Copenhagen, the BGM8S [Boogie Mates] Collective is a progressive and creative power centre made up of ten members: DJs, producers, graphic designers, and entrepreneurs. Members of the music collective broadcast two monthly programmes on Bolsjeradio, arrange events all over Copenhagen, and release a broad selection of music on their own label. BGM8S Collective is now a permanent fixture of the electronic scene in Copenhagen.

On DJ LoveCatt

DJ LoveCatt lives in Copenhagen. She mixes elements from house, disco, electronica, and funk in her work and her sets are always full of surprises.
DJ LoveCatt is part of Future Female Sounds, a non-profit organisation with exclusive focus on womxn-DJs and she recently played at the Techfestival, Silent Discos, GL STRAND, Nørrebro Pride, Union, URBAN13 x Brooklyn Brewery, Aarhus Volume x FFS, Culture Box, and Soundboks. DJ LoveCatt’s sound is playful and she enjoys mixing songs that make you want to get up and dance with tracks you have never heard before.

On Mira Campau

Mira Campau is an up-and-coming DJ based in Copenhagen. As part of Future Female Sounds and B8M8s Collective, she has DJ’d at venues across Denmark, including the TalkTown Festival, Haven20, Kayakbar, Fuse Point, Herselection, and lots of livestreams during the pandemic. Her tracks are varied, from rare Chicago house to experimental jazz – Campau can get anyone dancing in summer evenings at Copenhagen Contemporary.
