Free music and open until sunset 🌊

We can’t promise the weather. But we can promise that CC Summer Nights is back this Thursday from 5-9 PM – no matter what the Danish late summer weather has in store.

If the weather is on our side: enjoy free outdoor music, a cold drink in hand, and Refshaleøen at its very best. If not: the exhibition halls are filled with art, the indoor light is beautiful, and the music plays on.

This evening features a live performance by the rising Copenhagen duo mikey.

The new Copenhagen-based duo mikey consists of Maiken Kock Rask and Henrik Koefod Petersen. Over the past year, they have broken through with their heartfelt, alternative, and melancholic take on 2026 pop music. Following the release of their debut EP, first notes, in spring 2026, the duo received praise from several international music publications, including The Line of Best Fit and Nina Protocol, which described their music as capturing existential moments centred on difficult choices, doubt, and the changes that come with life after 30.

In their songs, Maiken Rask’s vulnerable vocals meet Henrik Petersen’s distinctive compositions, drawing inspiration from the club scene, early New Age, and contemporary R&B.

mikey moves effortlessly between the dreamy, the introspective, and the danceable. When the duo performs at Copenhagen Contemporary this August, they invite audiences into their atmospheric sonic universe, where strong melodies and honest storytelling take centre stage. For this performance, they will also unveil their visual world through a unique live AV show created especially for the occasion.
