About
Unleash your imagination and join us for the Potato Printing workshop on September 2nd from 1 PM to 4 PM. The workshop will take children and their parents back to the collective mindset of the 60s, where recycling, togetherness, the naive expression, and organic vegetables come into play. We’ll be printing with vegetables and adding color to old t-shirts, socks, pants, dresses, or whatever you feel could use a new look.
Please bring your old clothing (either cotton or linen) in light colors. You can bring up to 3 pieces of clothing. The color adheres best to clothes that have been worn and washed several times. Textile designer Anna Clarisse Holck Wæhrens will guide you through the workshop. Wæhrens is part of the exhibition ‘Beautiful Repair’ with the performance video ‘MANNER,’ created in collaboration with the designer SLOTH ROUSING.
The workshop is free to participate in after paid entrance to CC. Get your ticket here. There are no participant prerequisites – everyone can join and is welcome – the workshop is for children, youth, and adults alike. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Color pigments can be used under adult supervision. We’ll provide plastic gloves and aprons when using color pigments, but stains on clothes and skin may occur, as we’re using alternative printing methods.
The workshop is supported by the Danish Arts Foundation and sponsored by Eat Grim.

About CC Studio
CC Studio is CC’s outreach center based on the first floor, equipped with workshops, exhibition halls, and spaces for immersion and relaxation. The outreach center offers facilities, activities, and learning programs for both children and young people, as well as adults. Community is the focal point for the physical, dialogue-based, and creative encounters with art. The goal is to provide everyone, regardless of background and knowledge, the opportunity to engage with art in an engaging and informal manner. Each year, CC invites an international artist to create a playscape in CC Studio; an installation of works that the art center’s guests can explore, play with, and investigate using their bodies.
