CC Single: LGBTQ+ find your soulmate party

About

Single and LGBTQ+?

Are you tired of Tinder and Hinge, have you lost faith in love, or has it been way too long since you woke up to the smell of coffee you didn’t make yourself? Bring your single friends, your last Tinder date, or your funniest single coworkers when CC reintroduces the singles party and helps you find your soulmate.

After our first big singles party and feedback from our CC singles, there’s no doubt we can break it up a bit and make meeting other singles easier, sexier, and more fun, while still maintaining the safer space we all share.

We’ll experience art, size up the other singles, and end the night on the dance floor—maybe going home with some butterflies and a stranger’s phone number in your pocket.

Everyone is welcome, but this event is specifically for LGBTQ+ singles. Check out the singles party open to all here: The Other Singles Party.

In the past, most guests have been 35+ – but love knows no age, and you’re welcome no matter yours.

Dress code: It’s up to you.

Tonight’s icebreaker:
A visit to the installation Monster Chetwynd – a monstrous total installation with a particular focus on creative co-creation and a perfect opportunity to size up the other singles before you meet on the dance floor.

Beyond the art and the dance floor:

There will be opportunities to engage in different shared activities.

Program:

Arrive between 6 PM and 8 PM – You can arrive at any time within this timeframe.

The Monster Chetwynd installation will be open until 9 PM.

Workshop – will be open until 9 PM.

Copenhagen Contemporary closes to other guests at 6 PM – From 6 PM onwards, it will only be singles in attendance.

Bar and Café Connie Connie – In the bar and café, you will have the opportunity to purchase a light meal.

Last chance to enter the party is exactly at 8 PM – Make sure you’re there before!

20:00 DJ, dance floor, and bar

00:00 AM We close Cinderella-style – Forget a stiletto on the steps and take 2A home.

We recommend that you take time to experience the installation, as it will become a common reference throughout the evening.

Remember, it’s a night of love, and as always, we treat each other with respect. At CC, we respect people regardless of nationality, religion, age, gender, sexuality, neurodiversity, or physical appearance. Therefore, we do not tolerate any form of harmful behavior.

OUR SAFER SPACE POLICY

Remember, this is a night of love, and we always treat each other properly. At CC, we respect people regardless of nationality, religion, age, gender, sexuality, neurodiversity, or physical appearance. Therefore, we do not tolerate any form of harmful behavior.

If you experience or witness anything that doesn’t feel safe, we would greatly appreciate it if you approach our staff, so they can help resolve the situation in the best possible way.

WE’D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU

Since this is our first LGBTQ+ singles evening at Copenhagen Contemporary, we’d love to hear from you before and after. Send any questions, advice, or feedback, and we promise we’ll get even better at celebrating art and love with you.
