CC10: Lea Korsgaard – Book Signing

In connection with her talk during CC10, Lea Korsgaard invites the audience to a book signing at Copenhagen Contemporary. Following the talk, visitors will have the opportunity to meet Lea, have their book signed and take the experience with them beyond the stage and into everyday life. The book will be available for purchase in our shop, where the book signing will also take place.

Lea Korsgaard’s book Inden året er omme begins with a simple yet unexpected ambition: to see all Danish butterfly species within a single year. Without being an expert, she allows curiosity to guide her through unfamiliar landscapes, into encounters with people who offer their help, and further into philosophy and mythology. The butterfly becomes a symbol of transformation and rebirth – and a way into the larger questions of life, death, and meaning.

The book signing is free after paid admission.

Lea Korsgaard (b. 1979) is the co-founder and editor-in-chief of Zetland. She holds a degree in journalism from the University of Southern Denmark and has studied sociology at The New School for Social Research in New York. She is the author of several books, including Den, der råber lyver (2017) and Orgasmeland (2014), which was nominated for the History Book of the Year Award and the Weekendavisen Literature Prize.
