Sunday the 29th of March at 11am-13pm: a mini-opening will be held together with the other CC Skills courses. This day is an opportunity to showcase what you have been working on during the course and to see what participants from the other courses have created. Each participant may invite one guest for free. After the opening, you are welcome to explore CC’s exhibitions or enjoy a cup of coffee in our café. Participation is optional.

Please note: This course only works with oil paint.

What is so special about oil paint? Why has this relatively simple material captivated the minds of so many artists? During this 6-week course, artist Noah Pryke, will help you delve into the qualities of oil paint, and explore why this material has such unique potential and how we can make the most of it. Each class will focus on a different quality of oil paint, with painting exercises every week to try out and experiment.

This course is about your personal creative journey. Whether you are just starting out or have your own practise, this course is designed to explore the facinating properties of oil paint and how to express yourself in different ways through this medium.

The instructor, Noah Pryke, is a trained visual artist from The Royal Drawing School. He has designed the program based on his education at some of the finest schools and courses across Europe.
