Exhibition buildup: Marta Minujín Intensify Life

About

Enter the otherwise secret workspace where our next exhibition is being built. Experience the transformation of the space and see the art take shape.

It’s always a special time at Copenhagen Contempory when we say goodbye to an exhibition and wait for new artistic magic to emerge. It’s a time when secret movements behind closed doors and you feel a sense of busyness throughout the hole building. The construction of an exhibition feels enigmatic and mysterious. The process is incomprehensible to the rest of us, and like a Christmas tree finally presented with decorations on Christmas Eve, another exhibition hall is suddenly rebuilt and ready in all its glory. The transformation is complete with a new artist’s expression and ownership.

Right now it is possible to go behind the scenes and see how an exhibition takes shape.

Exhibition Buildup is a special offer that can only be experienced between exhibitions. It’s free with paid admission, you just need to show up.

It’s important that you don’t wander away from the crowd and follow our tour guide around. We visit a construction site with all its wonders and dangers and expect a high risk of an irresistible urge to see the final result when the exhibition is ready.
