CREA CREA: The school for art & strength

About

CREA CREA is an exciting new after-school activity at CC designed for children aged 7-11 amidst CC’s exhibitions brimming with multimedia installations, sculptures, paintings, colors, and sound.

Here, we explore ourselves, our strengths, and art in entirely new ways. Through a specially developed learning journey focusing on senses, creativity, and community, two trained visual artists will introduce children to the world of art. The teaching approach, based on strength-based pedagogy, supports each child’s inner creativity and helps them understand themselves better within the world.

We will work with inner strengths, curiosity, courage, and imagination. Together, we will explore art and create our very own exhibition using drawing, painting, sculpture, graphics, ceramics, sound, and the body as a medium. We’ll challenge our senses by shaping and glazing clay, drawing with the body without hands, and creating graphic prints using sunlight on photosensitive paper.

The entire season will culminate in an exhibition opening where family, friends, and CC’s guests are welcome to attend and celebrate the children’s artistic achievements
