Only as a CC member you have the opportunity to experience this evening where we open our doors for drinks and a tour of CC’s exhibition “Intensify Life” by Marta Minujín.

Marie Laurberg, CC’s director and curator behind “Intensify Life,” will guide you through the exhibition and share behind-the-scenes stories about its creation and its many spectacular works.

Bring your best friend, partner, mother, or neighbor along to explore the centerpiece of the exhibition, one of art history’s first total-installation works: “La Menesunda” from 1965.

This labyrinthine installation is Minujín’s masterpiece, designed as a fantastical journey through Buenos Aires, divided into 11 different rooms. Along the way, visitors encounter scenes such as a neon-lit street, a swamp, a women’s salon where a nail artist gives manicures, a bedroom with a sleeping couple—and sometimes the scent of grilled chicken.

Named after the local slang for chaos, the work is inspired by the vibrant street life of Buenos Aires.

Kidnappening combines the words “kidnap” and “happening”.
The image tells one of the many incredible stories of artist Marta Minujín and documents ‘The Kidnapping’ – a happening where MOMA’s guests were abducted and transported to Marta Minujín’s own exhibition.

At Cocktails and Curator you’ll experience the works up close and get all the ‘behind the scenes’ stories.

Ticket includes admission for 1 adult + 1 guest + 1 drink.

18:00: Check-in and pick-up at the CC Foyer counter. If you are not a member and have purchased a member ticket, we recommend you arrive at 18:00 or become a member in advance here
