Participation Details:
You can choose to sign up for the event to pitch your friend or simply bring along your single friends and listen to others’ pitches.
The event consists of a presentation segment where friends introduce their single friends using a microphone and slides, followed by a mingle session where everyone can socialize and even create an analog love-seeking post.
The number of presentations varies, but typically there are between 7 and 12 loving, surprising, and quirky presentations. The event is open to everyone, regardless of gender, age, or sexual orientation.
If you’d like to pitch your friend:
- You must sign up in advance and choose the pitch-spot ticket. Spots are limited, so register early—even if your presentation isn’t ready yet.
- Keep it friendly! This is not a roast at a comedy club. The event is meant to promote friends in a positive and fun way.
- Keep it clean. We encourage inclusive creativity in the presentations and ask that you avoid including nudity or inappropriate images.
- The presentation should last between 3-5 minutes. It is recommended (but completely optional) to include the person’s preferred pronouns, sexual orientation, and age.
The Very Important “Last Slide”:
The last slide must include a picture of the person along with their contact information (Instagram, phone number, etc.). This slide will be shown again during the evening and will also be included in the event summary at the end.
Please submit your presentation before the event! We will send you an email with instructions on how to submit your presentation. Kindly name your presentation file with the person’s name and the presenter’s name (e.g., “ALEX presented by Jane”) and send the file within the specified time frame.
Need to cancel your pitch?
We understand that plans can change. Since the spots are limited for each event, we appreciate it if you let us know as soon as possible if you need to cancel. This allows us to offer your spot to another single person.
