This winter you can join a unique Christmas market when CC and Dinesen in the CC Shoppen present a stellar line-up of architects, designers and artists. Together they have created objects, designs and workshops based on working in and around wood.

Dinesen was established in 1898 and was then called Jels Savværk with production and shop in the southern Jutland town of Jels. A special focal point for both the company and the local community was the annual Christmas market at the sawmill site. Here, the surrounding area came to experience the beautiful, the crushed and the intricate. In the 125 years that Dinesen has grown from a local sawmill to today supplying floorboards worldwide, interdisciplinary collaborations and a continuous exploration of wood as a material have been at the center.

At CC, old sawmill traditions are revived with new collaborations. Come and explore everything from wooden boxes, beauty products, bells, furniture, fragrances, a firewood workshop and much more created by the amazing community that springs from Dinesen’s work with wood.
