Workshop

Ceramic evenings at CC

In Sol Calero’s El barco de barro (The Clay Ship) everyone gets the chance to shape their own work in clay, place it on one of the many shelves in the hall and become co-creators of the exhibition.

Now we expand the experience and invite you to a series of 4-hour long workshops with professional ceramicist Alikka Garder Petersen, who will take you on a sensual and formative journey, where clay and craftsmanship are in focus. Along the way, we work to create hangings for the exhibition, create works using our imagination and create our own personal expressions. Your work will be burned in the kiln, and you are welcome to come back and glaze your sculpture the following Wednesday and beyond, as the ceramics take a long time to burn in the kiln.

Bring your creations home, or donate them to the exhibition and leave a mark of yourself in El barco de barro.
