CC SHOP x Sing Tehus

About

CC opens the doors to the world of tea in collaboration with Sing Tehus

Throughout the entire period, you will be able to experience Japanese tea culture and ceramics, with Sing Tehus as the presenter.
Among other things, there will be an exquisite ceramics exhibition featuring Hans Vangsø and Anne Fløche, as well as a genuine modern Japanese teahouse, where you can participate in tea ceremonies and tea tastings.

The Japanese teahouse is designed for this exhibition by architect Alex Lee Hummel and built by architects Ken and Akiko from Douglas at Dinesen.

During the last week of the collaboration, CC will get an exclusive visit from the Japanese ceramist Hanako Miwa, who in collaboration with the architects Alex H. Lee and Rikitoshi Yamakawa have created another transportable teahouse for the occasion.

Sing Tehus Collab in the CC Shop from 18.09.2024 to 27.10.2024

Sing Tehus is one of many collaborators who will help to expand and question consumption, design, and art—and, of course, give the audience the chance to take a special piece of the CC experience home.

About Sing Tehus

Mette Marie Kjær opened Sing Tehus on November 17, 2006. With a background as a visual artist, it was the artistic elements of Asian tea culture, including the Japanese tea ceremony, that first captured her interest and led her to the vast and exciting world of tea.

Mette Marie often visits suppliers in Japan and China, as the friendly relationship and interest in the products are an important part of good collaboration with skilled tea producers. Sustainability is one of the key focal points and topics discussed with the tea producers.
