For schools and education
Courses
At Copenhagen Contemporary, school classes can experience contemporary art on a grand scale in our fantastic industrial halls on Refshaleøen. In our learning programs, contemporary art’s themes, materials, and formats are explored with our skilled educators. Together, we embark on a journey of discovery, asking questions, interpreting, analyzing, discussing, and relating contemporary art to the world and our own lives.
In a unique and unconventional learning environment, we aim to spark students’ curiosity, challenge conventional thinking, and enhance their sense of wonder and perspective through art.
We employ dialogue-based teaching for all age groups, including adults. Our instruction varies between student conversations, dialogical exercises, explanations and walkthroughs by the educators, and possibly longer creative activities in our workshop.

You will tour the facility with our art mediator, exploring exhibitions, CC’s history, and development.
