About
Join us on 29 June 2023 as we open the doors to a visionary exhibition on the future of architecture.
Reset Materials – Towards Sustainable Architecture explores the future of architecture using innovative and experimental building materials. Ten interdisciplinary teams, comprising architects, artists, and material producers, have come together to showcase their compelling visions for a post-carbon architecture.
The exhibition focuses on sample and full-scale studies of locally developed or rediscovered materials, ranging from recycled plastics and silicon to living organisms and biogenic materials like mycelium, nettle, clay, and hemp. These materials have been collected, cultivated, recycled, deconstructed, and recomposed by the teams. The final works are displayed as material fragments, allowing visitors to individually experience the architectural, functional and aesthetic processes and potentials of these materials.
The exhibition is presented by CC in collaboration with Akademisk Arkitektforening + Archival Studies and curated by Chrissie Muhr. Supported by Dreyers Fond.
Exhibition period: 30 June to 28 September 2023.
