COPENHAGEN CONTEMPORARY shows international large-scale contemporary art. Our vision is to be a meeting place for a broad and mixed audience, which is why we strive to be an accommodating and inclusive art centre.

Under the heading CC Community Projects, art is the leverage for change and for engendering a community spirit among different groups of people. Via a series of partnerships, we want to enhance mixed community activities.

The aim of the initiative CC Community Football is to promote meaningful dialogue across population groups and help combat loneliness and social exclusion locally. Based on art and sport, the project is intended to direct focus at stigmatised and socially disadvantaged groups, using football as a tool to achieve the project goals.

FANT – FOOTBALL FOR A NEW TOMORROW works to create better conditions for children and young people in developing countries. FANT uses sport in everything they do: they love sport and see sport as a universal language underpinning healthy community activities.

STREET SOCIETY uses street sport to facilitate social and meaningful activities for disadvantaged children and youngsters. They all come together – regardless of background – on the asphalt. The keywords are: respect, confidence, and friendship always pivoting on the needs of the youngsters. They meet at the venue Under Buen in the Nørrebro district.

OMBOLD is a football community project specifically aimed at social groups who do not tend to approach ordinary sports associations. The aim is to motivate socially disadvantaged adults to engage and take part in physical activities – borne by a wish to establish a positive social community group. It all takes place under the motto Football, Community, Change.
