CC is an art center designed to welcome guests of all ages.

We are committed to dialogue, play, and deep engagement. Here, there’s room to ask questions, wonder, and explore art.

Exhibition hosts are present in all our exhibitions. They’re always ready for a conversation about the art – especially with our youngest visitors.

Our workshop is open on weekends and Holidays and is free for all visitors. Children and adults can take part in creative activities and explore materials and themes from our current exhibitions together. Workshop facilitators are available to assist and guide the artistic activities.

We offer special activities during school holidays, and during the summer, we host summer schools with activities in the exhibitions, the workshop, and around Refshaleøen.

Here, we get to know each other, ourselves, our strengths, and art in entirely new ways. Through a specially developed learning program focusing on the senses, creativity, and community, two trained visual artists will invite children into the world of art. The program, grounded in strength-based learning, supports each child’s inner creative power and gives them space to explore who they are and how they exist in the world.

At CC, we always have plenty of events for children and their grown-ups. Join us for special kid-friendly guided tours or take part in fun theatre workshops, just to name a few!
