CC opens its doors to one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary art: Camille Henrot.
This evening, admission to CC is free. The exhibition is open until 9 PM, and from 8 PM we open the doors to another of CC’s iconic signature events: the CC Afterparty. The afterparty requires a wristband, which is free and available on a first-come, first-served basis from 5 PM on the day.

Look forward to an evening that engages all the senses, where you as a guest will experience a fully immersive artistic universe surrounded by captivating video works, sculptures, paintings, and atmospheric installations—all woven together in Henrot’s unique world, where the poetic meets the hypermodern.

The evening will also feature live performances and DJ sets in Hall 6, setting the stage for an atmospheric celebration of art, community, and summer nights at Refshaleøen. Experience, among others, the Roskilde Festival–featured club-glitched hypergaze duo Miaw, who will perform live this evening.

In her largest solo presentation to date in Scandinavia, Henrot unfolds a sensory and thought-provoking total experience across media. With time as a central theme, the exhibition explores questions of care, transformation, and modern human life in a world shaped by technological dependency and ecological crisis. At its core is the Scandinavian premiere of the video work In The Veins (2025), where the intimate and the global merge into a visually striking piece.
