More info

The ticket also grants access to CC for the entire day.

Practical information:

Venue: Copenhagen Contemporary, Hall 6

The conversation will be in English.

The talk is part of CC10 – a three-day festival of performance, talks, and concerts at Copenhagen Contemporary, taking place from 23–25 January. The festival brings together artists, performers, and musicians in an intensive programme where performance unfolds across a wide range of forms and formats.

Over the course of all three days, audiences can experience a rich and varied programme of performances, talks, and concerts that activate the entire space of CC and create encounters between body, sound, movement, and storytelling.

As part of CC10, Nadya Tolokonnikova joins CC’s director, Marie Laurberg, for a conversation on activism, art, and resistance in a world shaped by political pressure and cultural struggles. The talk will also include elements from her book POLICE STATE, documenting her 10-day performance exhibition at MOCA Los Angeles (2025), including photographs, prison letters, artwork by fellow Russian political prisoners, and activist protests, all woven into a narrative of resistance.
