CC10: Monster Chetwynd in Conversation with Marie Laurberg
More info
The talk is part of CC10 – a three-day festival of performance, talks, and concerts at Copenhagen Contemporary, taking place from 23–25 January. The festival brings together artists, performers, and musicians in an intensive programme where performance unfolds across a wide range of forms and formats.
Over the course of all three days, audiences can experience a rich and varied programme of performances, talks, and concerts that activate the entire space of CC and create encounters between body, sound, movement, and storytelling.
Monster Chetwynd’s artistic practice reveals new facets at CC10 as they enter into conversation with CC’s Director, Marie Laurberg. The conversation takes its point of departure in Chetwynd’s work and methods, moving through the ideas, images, and narratives that drive their practice.
Drawing on a universe shaped by the glamorous, the grotesque, and the nightmarish, the conversation opens up reflections on performance, materials, collaboration, and the fluid boundaries between artist, artwork, and audience – and all that drifts through and above our heads.
