The music program for CPH: DOX 2020 is taking shape. Join us when we celebrate the release of the complete music program. The evening will include the film screening of Marie Losier Felix in Wonderland about the Germain music anarchist Felix Kubin, a concert with Excelsior, and an afterparty with DJs.
Felix in Wonderland
Filmmaker Marie Losier gives a kaleidoscopic, analogue and charming insight into German synthesizer genius Felix Kubin’s creative wonder world. Kubin is a child of Kraftwerk, cassette tape punk, dadaism and the revolution of the analogue synthesizer. A music anarchist with a fantasy-like a whole kindergarten. Marie Losier’s 16mm film immerses us into the engine room of Kubin’s unique world. The film screening is part of the German-Danish Cultural Friendship Year 2020
Excelsior
Excelsior is a Danish composer, producer, and singer Anja T. Lahrmann. She is an established part of the Danish underground scene with music that merges a wide range of genres; pop, folk and baroque and renaissance composition music. Her critically acclaimed debut album O Horizon was released in 2019. She has been nominated ’Vocalist of the year’ twice by the prestigious Danish award Steppeulven.
